The Wake Up
This is a great way to begin your day or to give yourself a little extra boost in the afternoon. The benefits of doing practice are too many to list but here are a few. Get your energy working for you, clear brain fog and lift your mood instantly. 3 minutes. Use once a day or multiple times a day. Not recommended in the evening or before bed.
Props you will need: all the stories, conversations, situations, aggitations, joyous and sad situations you can muster. Bring all of these things with you to your yoga mat. Then, begin this chair class. Physically we focus on the back and strengthening the hips. You will build muscle and balance through asanas (poses), ending with nadi shodhana (alternate nostril breathing). Work at your ability and HAVE FUN!! "Breaking All the Rules"
This is a chair yoga class with standing postures. We start with gentle twists and then a right brain left brain challenge. The second half of the class has you standing working on - half moon and triangle poses. We end with a little more twisting and meditation. Think out of the box and safely work up to holding poses longer. Even longer than I suggest in the video. Please, have fun!
